Sales Account Manager

Energy Suspension, the leader in performance automotive polyurethane suspension and drive train components, is seeking a motivated and disciplined Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the automotive aftermarket distribution channels including; aftermarket manufacturers, powersports, and marine. This person must be detail oriented, an excellent communicator, problem-solver and a strong desire to exceed sales objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Primary responsibility for managing existing accounts and new business development within the automotive aftermarket private label account channel

· Experienced with selling to aftermarket manufacturers within the automotive, marine, powersports and industrial distribution channels

· Understanding of quoting process, maintain competitive pricing while managing margin

· The candidate will also support product planning and engineering relative to market opportunities

· Customer engagement at trade shows and events

· Maximization of account sales potential relative to SKU expansion

· Assist the Product manager with new product and part number development

· Qualifications and Experience

· Expertise in sales and managing sales cycles

· Experience in new business development

· Automotive enthusiast with knowledge of the aftermarket

· Possess an entrepreneurial mindset in developing accounts in a consultative manner

· Ability to influence and negotiate.

· Good financial acumen and budgeting skills

· Strong team player and ability to work with cross-functional teams and colleagues

· Well-developed communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
